Terms of Service

Daylines is a private workspace for goals, notes, planning, metrics, and focus sessions. These terms are meant to be plain: your workspace belongs to you, we operate the service, and everyone needs to use it responsibly.

1. Agreement

By using Daylines, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you use Daylines on behalf of another person or organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for them.

2. Accounts and Sign-In

You need an account to use Daylines. Accounts are created through a verified identity provider such as Google Sign-In. After signing in, you may add passkeys to make future sign-ins easier. A passkey is a login credential for your account; it does not prove ownership of an email address by itself.

You are responsible for access to your Google account, passkeys, devices, and browser profile. If you believe someone has accessed your account without permission, contact us promptly.

3. Your Content

Your goals, notes, images, metrics, schedules, focus records, and other workspace material are your content. You retain ownership of your content. You grant us only the limited permission needed to host, store, sync, back up, display, secure, and operate Daylines for you.

You are responsible for the content you add. Do not upload or store content that you do not have the right to use, or content that is unlawful, abusive, invasive of another person's privacy, or designed to harm the service or other users.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

5. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your private workspace content to train AI models.

6. Service Changes and Availability

Daylines is an evolving product. Features may change, improve, move, or be removed. We try to keep the service reliable, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at every moment.

7. Data Backup and Export

Daylines may keep internal backups to protect against accidental loss and to support recovery. Backups are not a substitute for your own exports or records. You may request a copy of your account data by contacting us.

8. Account Suspension or Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, create risk for the service or other users, or use the service in a way that could cause legal or security problems. You may stop using Daylines at any time. You may request deletion of your account and workspace data by contacting us.

9. No Professional Advice

Daylines helps you organize information. It is not medical, financial, legal, tax, psychological, or professional advice. You are responsible for decisions you make using information you store or organize in the service.

10. Disclaimers

Daylines is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, loss of goodwill, or service interruption. Our total liability for any claim related to Daylines will not exceed the amount you paid to use the service in the 12 months before the claim, or 100 US dollars if you paid nothing.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. If a change materially affects your rights or obligations, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, such as posting an updated version in the service. The effective date above tells you when this version took effect.

13. Contact

Questions, account requests, data requests, or security concerns can be sent to hello@frameworks.design.
